Yesterday, was the first day of games for Medfield sports.
Golf cruised by Millis 259-301 at their home course, Ponkapoag... Field Hockey one-upped Westwood 3-2 at home... Boys Soccer battled to a 0-0 tie with Norton, also at home... Girls Volleyball topped Norton three games to one to improve to 2-0-0 on the year... Both Girls and Boys Cross Country picked up wins over Ashland at Hospital Hill... Girls Soccer played to a 1-1 draw at Norton.
In Other News
Yesterday it was announced that Medfiled won the Dalton Award for the 2013 season. The award is given the school with the best overall combined varsity record. This is the third time in five years the Warriors have taken home the Dalton.
