Yesterday afternoon the boys lacrosse team kicked off their schedule
with a solid 16-7 win over Holliston.
Jack Isaf led the charge offensively with four goals. John
MacLean and Tyler Hagan both notched three, Matt Cahill added two more, as did
Matt Treiber, and Jack Kelleher and Pat Connors both found the back of the net
once.
In the faceoff circle, Brian Bissell won 19 of the 22 draws
he took, while Robert Treiber made 9 saves on 14 shots.
The next game for the squad is Friday at Westwood starting
at 5:30.
Girls lacrosse also played their first game of the season
yesterday, drubbing Holliston 14-2 on the Panthers’ home field. Unfortunately
we do not have stats from this game so we can’t mention the goal scorers.
